Outreach

Outreach ministries to the poor and needy:

Jesus said, “Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me’” (Matthew 25:37-40). Ministry to the “least of these” must be part of every church’s outreach.

The Order of The Daughters of the King

The Order of the Daughters of the King is open to all women in the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion. A daughter pledges herself to a life-long program of prayer, service, and evangelism, dedicated to the spread of Christ's Kingdom and to the strengthening of the spiritual life of her parish.

Christmas at Hope

Among the highlights of the Christmas Season at Hope Episcopal Church has been the Living Nativity Scene. IEach year, we invite the neighborhood children to enter into the story of Christmas, to become part of God coming into this world -
which remains our calling. as adults.

See the page for pictures, and more information on this, and other parts of the Christmas Season

This page is a virtual meeting place, a gathering around the coffee pot.

It is envisioned as sort of a blog,
where men can send a post to the administrator, and all may comment on it.

Sort of a virtual BBQ grill we can all stand around and solve the world's problems.

The Altar Guild as a central part
of the "enacted theology" of our Church.

The Guild is a volunteer group of the parish whose ministry is to care for the altar, vestments, vessels, and altar linens
of the parish.

Altar Guild members prepare the sanctuary for services, and clean up afterwards. Altar Guild members frequently supervise the decoration of the sanctuary of the parish with flowers.
